C. Todd Sharkey is an IT Director, author, mentor, ministry leader, and lifelong student of history and truth. He lives in Ohio, where his days are divided between the demands of public-sector technology leadership and the deeper work he considers his true calling: teaching men and young leaders to think clearly, live courageously, and build something that endures.
His faith is not a compartment. It is the organizing principle of everything he does, the lens through which he reads history, the foundation from which he mentors, and the reason he believes the founders are worth knowing honestly rather than simply celebrating. A committed Christian with a biblical worldview, Todd approaches the past the way he approaches everything: with a conviction that truth matters, that character is revealed under pressure, and that the best lessons history offers are the ones that cost something to learn.
Todd created SphereofImpact.com, a platform for leadership, mentoring, and personal growth rooted in Scripture, history, and the belief that every man has a responsibility to grow his influence outward from the inside, self, family, community, and world. He also serves as a ministry developer and Bible study writer for Ohio Brigade Camp at Stony Glen, where he works to equip the next generation of young men with the biblical worldview and historical grounding they will need to lead well.
Sacred Honor is his first book. It was written to honor the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and to give everyday Americans an honest, substantive account of the fifty-six men who signed it. Todd is married and grateful for the family that makes the work worth doing.
